What's included?

A wide range of online materials which encourage pupils to explore together how Maths works:

  • Versatile Skill Checks that allow all pupils in a class to consolidate key skills at their own level

  • Pair Games for children to challenge each other

  • Pattern Builders for teachers and pupils together to explore patterns and relationships in numbers

  • A growing selection of Full Length Investigations, encouraging a discovery approach to learning key concepts

In addition to this, a number of printable, photocopiable resources are also available. These can be purchased individually from our online shop or you can sign up for the annual subscription and then have free access to all of them. The photocopiable games and photocopiable investigations can variously be used by individual pupils, by groups and for whole-class teaching away from the computer.

All ideas, methods and resources have been developed over many years of teaching Maths and advising teachers in primary schools and in one-to-one tuition with pupils up to A-level.

School Workshops for Parents

Many parents are desperate for information as to how Maths is taught in schools.  Workshops for parents can be an excellent way of responding to this need.

Schools are welcome to use any of the resources here as they stand, or freely adapt them for workshop use.  Parents can then be directed to the web site as a follow-up.

As the site grows, there will be a school subscription option, where schools register for a licence so that their whole school community can use the resources for free.  Schools interested in this, please get in touch
