Properties of Quadrilaterals

How do you tell a parallelogram from a trapezium?

What’s the difference between a rhombus and a diamond? (It’s OK, there isn’t one – they’re the same thing!)

How many right angles can a kite have?

What’s rotational symmetry?

This investigation lets children loose exploring a whole range of shapes and explores the vocabulary that you need to describe the differences between them. By the end of it, they (and you!) should be quadrilateral experts.
